Ziro in Arunachal Pradesh is famous for its Apatani people, and for their way of rice cultivation in hilly terrain. And not only do these fields grow rice, they also support fishes which are farmed by the Apatani people alongside the rice. In the above photograph, the end of monsoons has turned the Ziro valley into a lush green paradise.
