Photo Of The Day ~ The Last Resort

The 500 year old Galden Namgey Lhatse Monastery in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, is like a beacon of pure consciousness. Translated in English as “celestial paradise on a clear night”; just being around the presence of this monastery elevates a person to a state of bliss never known. In a age when the world is falling apart in so many ways, these isolated high mountain lands seem like the last refuge for these monks, who maybe the last few humans left who are still pure in their breath, heart and soul. And when China has taken control of free Tibet, it is important that we save these last resorts of an ancient golden age.
